A group of 130 people led by Lu Zhipeng, secretary of the Hexi New Town Committee,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], visited Huaqiao International Service Business Park last Friday.

Lu said he was amazed at Huaqiao's progress and was determined to learn from Huaqiao in modern service industry development.
Hexi New Town is expected to be the new center and symbol of the modern city of Nanjing. It has a total area of about 94 sq km,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], of which 56 square kilometers is land area, along with the Jiangxin islet, the Qian islet and 38 sq km of the Yangtze River. The current population is 350,000, with the future population expected to reach 600,000 in the near future.
With an international view and advanced concepts, Hexi New Town is projected to become a modern town of first-class quality.
Huaqiao International Service Business Park is situated in the Kunshan Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, on the border between Shanghai Municipality and Jiangsu Province. Covering an area of 50 square kilometers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Park was listed by the provincial party committee and government as one of the demonstration zones specializing in modern services and one of the major projects of the province's "11th Five-Year Plan".
